Roald Dahl Day in Key Stage 3
Thursday 13th September was Roald Dahl Day and we simply had to celebrate our favourite author! Years 7 and 8 took part in a range of activities, including thinking about the morals portrayed in some of Dahl’s most popular books, which led on to the pupils producing some excellent posters (see below).
They listened to some of the songs in his films, then wrote their own Oompa Loompa Rhymes. This was followed by reading some of Dahl’s most macabre prose and going on to create a range of disgusting descriptions, showing we have a number of future authors, artists and poets at school!
