BRITISH SUMMER SCHOOL – INFANTS
DAY SCHOOL DATES: 1st July – 26th July 3-5 years
The learning of English takes place in a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere and through a playful and educational programme of activities. Our team of fully-qualified, native professionals provides activities purely aimed at improving the use and understanding of English, and designed specifically for children from 3-5 years of age. In addition this programme also promotes the personal and social development of the child in areas such as living and working together, health and environmental education. The personnel at the school are fully committed to the welfare and security of the infants. Each classroom has a lead teacher and the support of a classroom assistant.
Our Summer School takes place at Kings College, The British School of Murcia situated on La Torre Golf Resort. The building is used as a school throughout the year and welcomes pupils from the age of Pre-Nursery to Year 13. In this way, the pupils gradually progress in order to take their final school exams with us and consequently move on to university studies.
From its beginnings in 1969, King’s College has forged an excellent reputation for its high standards in academia and magnificent results with students who go to the best universities in Great Britain, United States, Spain and other countries.
We work to provide a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere both through games and also by using various methods of teaching, such as stories, arts and crafts, dancing and theatre. In addition this programme also promotes the personal and social development of the child in areas such as living and working together, health and environmental education. All of the classes have plenty of short breaks in between activities, as well as a longer lunch break and exercises in the open air designed by the teaching staff. Our pupils of 3-4 years old are also allowed a short siesta in the afternoon if the class teacher sees it fit.
