I have spent a significant proportion of this week in Madrid with Mr Snowden undertaking inspector training with the rest of the King’s Group headteachers. It was extremely informative and interesting to see how the regime has changed in recent times, from judgemental process to a more developmental process.
Next term, KCM itself will be inspected by PENTA, a DfE recognised and approved inspectorate. The inspection process will be done in two stages: the first will be a two day visit in September; the second will be a four day visit in October. As you can infer from this, it is an extremely thorough and rigorous process and I am sure will leave us with an excellent idea as to how to continue to develop further. The final report will be available, as usual, on our website once it is published later that term.

Also this week we have enjoyed three amazing events, the two Galas and the Primary show, ‘The Keymaster’. I know these were extremely well received and executed. Sadly, I wasn’t able to experience them personally (due to the training), but I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the pupils and you, the parents, for all your support.
Have a great weekend.
