Dear Parents,

The week began with the return of our amazing COBIS athletes ably led by Mr Ryland and Mrs Foy – weren’t they amazing! I, for one, am extremely proud of their achievements, especially in the football competition. It is a true testament to the quality of King’s Group to see three of our schools in the top 8 of schools globally. If you missed it, please do look out for the article on our website coming shortly.

Also, congratulations must go to three of our Cambridge English examinees, who achieved C1 level. Well done to Andry, Marisol and Daniel!

Staffing

There are no significant changes to my announcements last week, except to congratulate two individuals on their promotions. Miss Wilson has now been appointed as the Head of Humanities from September and Miss Kirlew has been appointed as the EYFS coordinator. Well done to them and please do congratulate them if you have the opportunity.

TRACEUS

We would like to inform you that last Monday King’s College Murcia became the first school in the Murcian Region using the mobile app called TRACEUS. As you may know, TRACEUS is an app of management of school bus routes. May I take this opportunity to remind those parents of bus users that haven’t filled in the Data Protection form, to please do so here.

Today you will receive two e-mails from King’s Group regarding GDPR, please do look out for them in your inbox or spam folder. One of them will need a reply from you, please do follow the instructions carefully. Many thanks in advance.

…AND FINALLY

As I mentioned in my last letter, this week also marked the start of several trips for me personally over the next few weeks, as I attend various meetings, conferences and training. Indeed, I am writing this letter to you from Gatwick Airport! During these absences, I will be leaving the school in the very capable hands of Mr Snowden and the rest of my Senior Leadership team.

Have a great weekend.
