Dear Parents,

We come to the end of what has been an eventful term and an exciting and packed year. From storms and snow (!!), to a day out at the  La Torre Hotel (!!) and some work done in between all of this, ‘eventful and packed’ are perhaps understatements!

Of course, last week we finished with another successful Christmas Fayre (see below) followed by a lovely evening of carols and readings at La Manga. Throughout this week we have enjoyed ‘Ebony Scrooge’ (the school play), the EYFS and KS1 Nativities – both with a ‘star’ theme, and today our end of term assembly and Christmas lunches. I am sure all our children will be leaving this afternoon with plenty of festive cheer!

A message from Mrs Christie, the Chair of our Charity Group

Dear All ,

I am delighted to say that we made a profit of 2101.06 Euros  – of which 160 Euros will be set aside for the COBIS Games.

In addition to the above , we also collected the following :

Drinks sold at the KS3 Carol Service  28.50 Euro

Drinks sold at Cantata 108.00 Euro

Thank you to all that have contributed and a very Merry Christmas!

You will have received by now your re-enrolment letter for next year. Please do fill this in as soon as possible and return to us. If you have not received your letter, or have misplaced it, we do have some copies available at reception or by clicking here.

I am very pleased to announce that Mrs Brett and Mrs Refearn will be returning to us (in fact today!), having made full recoveries from their respective injuries.

Mr Morter-Laing (our new Business Studies teacher) is very excited about joining our team in the new year and enjoyed his visit earlier this week. He was able to meet with some of the pupils and spent much time with Miss Howard discussing the ‘handover’.

Also, Mrs Mills is looking forward to her arrival. She will be joining us slightly late, on the 15th, due to prior engagements. So in the first week back, Year 6 will continue to enjoy Mr Mills’ company as well as Mr Dadd’s (should he return) and mine. Further to that, we are hoping to see Mr Dadd’s return in the new year, as he continues his convalescence.

End of Term Pupil reports

Please note that Pupil reports (All Years) will be available via the Parent Portal this  afternoon.
