Dear Parents,

I can barely believe that Advent is already upon us. Today, our School Choir began the festivities at the La Torre Hotel as they lit their Christmas tree. Meanwhile, the rest of our pupils have begun their ‘reverse’ advent calendars, bringing in items, for those in need, each day of advent (see below). As always, it is at this time of year especially that we think of those less fortunate than ourselves.

A message from Mrs Mirfield…

This year, all classes are participating in the ´Reverse Advent Calendars´ where donations of food, hygiene products and toys will be collected and distributed to local homeless charities, Casa Cuna in Sucina and Jesus Abandonado in Murcia.

Each pupil will be be asked to donate one item for the collection.  Staff will discuss suitable items with the pupils. Items will be collected week commencing 11 December 2017.

Thank you.

Road Crossing – Safety

Last week I wrote to you regarding my concerns regarding the road crossing. My thanks to all of you for your support in this. It has greatly improved, though we shall remain vigilant.

Staffing

Mr Dadd’s recovery has been slightly delayed. Although much better than before, he will not be re-joining us for a little while yet.

Music Lessons & Wellbeing

Further to Mrs Mirfield and Mr Green’s messages over the course of this week, next week we will be holding our first ever wellbeing days. A whole host of activities and talks will be available, as well as eSafety for parents on Monday afternoon. Please do follow events on twitter at @KC_Murcia.

Due to the change in schedule, there will be no peripatetic music lessons next week.
