Dear Parents,

When you receive this week’s letter my leadership team and I will be en route to the King’s Group strategy weekend. This weekend is held every few years and we are all attending this instead of our usual trip to the UK for the COBIS Conference in May. Over the course of the weekend, we will be discussing group-wide issues including: achievements since our last ‘weekend’ 5 years ago; ‘The Road to Excellence’; academic and pastoral issues, as well as other matters. I am sure this will be a highly productive three days and we are all looking forward to meeting up with our colleagues from the other KG schools.

Safety

Further to my previous letters, we have had one or two recent incidents of people parking on the crossings during pick-up and drop-off times. As a result we have had to report these to the authorities. Please can I remind you to consider the safety of our children using the crossing and refrain from parking across the zebra-crossing. Many thanks for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

…AND FINALLY

Congratulations to all our Primary students who took part in the King’s Group Primary Games. We came third overall, but increased our medal tally to five this year. Please do look out for the article on our website.

Good luck to Olga S. and Daniel P. as they train for the upcoming Spanish Golf Championship.

Do enjoy the long weekend – I hope all our fathers have a great day on Monday (perhaps some presents too?).
