Dear Parents,

Feliz Día del San José

I hope you all enjoy this much anticipated long weekend!

Science Week!

The children in our Early Years department had a lot of fun learning about science with Dr Jennie O´Brien, our Head of Sixth Form and excellent science teacher! Usually teaching Physics to A Level students she changed pace and proved she could inspire and motivate the youngest of our learners. Many thanks to her!

Red Nose Day Friday March 26th

This year we will participate in the UK´s Red Nose Day

https://www.comicrelief.com/rednoseday/

We ask all staff children and young people to wear as much RED as possible  and not come in school uniform. They are also free to accessorise too with  ( ribbons, wigs, bracelets…). In order to raise money for our chosen charities we ask the students to bring 1 euro to school on this day. Money which is raised will go to pay for computers for the orphanage Fundación San José Obrero

Summer School King’s 2021

We are planning summer school at the moment. This will be led and managed by Cristian Sosa Pons and Ewen McIntyre. They will send out a parent survey next week to find out what parents and students would like to see in Summer School 2021!

SECONDARY ASSEMBLY NEXT Monday

We will be having a celebration of the term with feedback on our sports leaders, Model United Nations (MUN) & Accelerated Reader. If you child has any outstanding achievement in sports or any other activity please let us know so they can be included!

Spanish Department News…

We are happy to announce that Maria Tavera Head of Modern Foreign Languages will now also take over the Spanish as a Second language Department. This will be phased as she will assume responsibility for Years 10 and above after Easter and the whole school in September! Congratulations and good luck to her!

Breakfast Club

It seems that parents are not interested in this service at the moment. We will try again after Easter.
