Dear Parents,

The academic year 2019-2020 has now drawn to a close. I trust that the consultations with your child’s teacher(s) have proven to be useful and informative over the last couple of days. Certainly the feedback we have received from some of you has been very positive and we may look to adopt this model for the future.

I have said much in recent times of our evolution through the challenges we have faced this year and the opportunities these have presented for us all. And I cannot emphasise enough how very proud I am of our school community and how we have all pulled together during the quarantine period. I do feel that eKCM has been a huge success. Not just because of the teachers’ dedication to making the lessons and work as meaningful and purposeful as possible, but also because of your support with your children and their subsequent efforts during this time. I have greatly enjoyed seeing the many photos and videos that have been shared with the community, be they from the fledgling KCM band, the Road Race and PE challenges. Not to mention of course, seeing the pupils working in class during my visits to lessons. What an amazing family we have – truly.

Although all our plans for the holiday period may have changed from what we were thinking before March, we now anticipate some rest and relaxation. Also, there is the anticipated promise of a return to that large edifice located just outside La Torre Golf Resort in Roldan….I am sure, we, you and especially your children, will never have been happier to see it than when we all arrive on 2nd September and hear the bell for registration – I can’t wait.

Please do look out for communications from us during the summer period, especially if there are any changes to legislation in the coming months.

In the meantime, have a wonderful summer everyone and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

Best wishes,

Mr Rumistrzewicz
