This has been a very different sort of week to the one that was originally planned. The events of last weekend have very much over-shadowed things and those less fortunate than ourselves have very much been at the forefront of our minds. Some of our KS3 pupils have made a video about their experiences and how they and their families have supported the relief efforts in local communities. This is being shared within classes.
I know that in my recent communications with you, I mentioned our collection for a variety of items to help the relief efforts in our community and I thank you all for your generosity in the donations already received. Of course, much still remains to be done and we will be continuing to help our communities as much possible. With this in mind, our ‘World Peace Day’ celebration (which was scheduled for today) has been changed into a fundraising event. And more details on this will follow.
In the meantime, I would like to thank you all for your kindness, generosity and, indeed, patience at this time.

Please can I remind parents of the uniform requirements for your child, particularly in Secondary regarding bangles, earrings and other accessories. Please do refer to our website here. As always, if you are unsure, then please do ask your child’s form teacher. Regarding PE kit in secondary, all pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 are aware of when they can arrive or go home wearing their PE kit. This is displayed in their form rooms and can also be viewed here. Key Stage 4 & 5 is available here.
Linked to this, please can I remind parents not to enter the school buildings during the day, without reporting first to reception. This is not only for child protection reasons, but also for safety, so that we know who is on site etc. Also, please can I remind parents not to come in before 4.15 pm at ‘pick up’ time. Many thanks.
EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS
A further reminder that, if your contact details have changed since our last update, please could you let Marta, at reception, know as soon as possible so that we can update our records. Marta can be contacted at email@example.com. Many thanks in advance.
We are experiencing some issues with our Management Information System, iSAMS, and our website calendar ‘talking’ to each other. For this reason, certain events seem to not appear on our website calendar. We are, of course, working to fix this issue. Thank you in advance for your patience in this matter and apologies for any inconvenience.
Thank you to all those parents who attended the Y7 presentation yesterday (this will be available shortly on our website). I am sure you all found it most informative, especially with regard to the importance and rigour of our BSO inspection process and also Spanish and British University entry.
