Dear Parents,

This week has seen the start of the written exams for our GCSE and A-level students and also the continuation of Cambridge exams for our younger pupils.  This is a challenging time for all those involved in exams – the pupils reach the culmination of their studies and want to do their best, while the parents watch on, seemingly helpless, as their child endeavours to do their best. During this difficult time, we must be mindful of all the hard work they have done and have faith in their abilities – I am very much looking forward to their results in the summer!

As always a few messages….

If you have not yet had the opportunity, please do complete the parent survey as soon as possible. Many thanks.

Thank you to all the parents who attended Sports day. As I am sure you will agree it was an excellent day, albeit a hot one (in stark contrast to the same time last year)! Although we were unable, for technical reasons, to announce the winning house on Wednesday, I am happy to say that the overall winners were Gaudi House, who retained the title from last year.

With the heat of the day in mind, we will be reviewing the timing of Sports Day, in consultation with the PE department, for next year.

A reminder that next week we will be enjoying our termly Music Recital on Thursday at 3pm. We have a number of acts taking part in what will be our final recital of the year and a number of our students who are undertaking ABRSM exams in June, will also be performing., so I do warmly invite parents to attend.

We are finalising next week the course details depending on which pupils will be attending these courses in July. The final deadline to contact me is Tuesday 21st May at  You can see further information here. Thank you.
