This week sees the end of February and the beginning of March, with spring only 3 weeks away – although it feels like summer already! Our intrepid Duke of Edinburgh students are enjoying their ‘long expedition’ in Sierra Espuña this weekend, while during the week our younger pupils enjoyed their Rugby sessions with Club Universitario Rugby Murcia (CURM).
Meanwhile, members of our EYFS team have undertaken storytelling sessions at some of our partner nurseries in the region and Miss Williams will be joining Sr Campos in Murcia to run some art workshops next week.
A number of our older pupils have also been busy doing their Cambridge Advanced exams and we await the results with keen anticipation.
Next week, Marcos, the Head Chef of Nexalia will be cooking the food on next week’s menu for all the children and our very own Jose Luis will be observing. Marcos will also be bringing with him some ‘push button’ feedback machines, so as to give us more of an idea which dishes are working well and which ones we need to develop. We will also be working closely with the Head Boy and Head Girl (together with Pupil Voice) on the feedback received.
SUMMER SCHOOL – COURSES
You will have received an email from Mr McIntyre regarding our Summer School and some courses we are looking to introduce, if there is enough interest. Please do look out for it and respond to Mr McIntyre as soon as possible.
|Tues 5th March||World Book Day and Carnival|
|Wed 6th March||Parents’ Coffee Afternoon – Key Stage 1 parents|
Next week will see our first cohort of Dance GCSE pupils undertaking their practical practice exams. We wish them all the best.
Also, don’t forget your costumes for our World Book Day and Carnival parade on Tuesday!
Have a great weekend and a good rest.
